I've finally started watching less movies, and more tv. Beauty and the Geek is incredible.
The Aluminum Fowl (rewatch, short, 2006, James Clauer, youtube) - 9
The Playhouse (rewatch, short, 1921, Buster Keaton, theater) - 9
Abby (1974, William Girdler, download) - 8
Blaxploitation ripoff of The Exorcist. The actress who plays Abby is really amazing, or maybe just whoever overdubbed her demonic voice is.
Zodiac (2007, David Fincher, theater) - 7.5
Very watchable and compelling, but not really great. Except for the cast, who are all totally fucking great. And I wanted to see more killings, but I guess that's more Zodiac's fault than the filmmaker's.
Freaky Friday (1976, Gary Nelson, theater) - 9
Foxes (rewatch, 1980, Adrian Lyne, theater) - 5 / 8
I just saw this really recently, and it's not all that rewatchable. And I was extra not in the mood for it after Freaky Friday. So I think it's a really good movie, I just didn't enjoy this screening of it.
Bugsy Malone (1976, Alan Parker, theater) - 5
I liked the musical numbers, and the ending was sort of amazing, and I liked when the fat black kid suddenly impersonated Jodie Foster for no real reason, but other than that, I didn't enjoy it very much.
Beavis and Butt-head (Vol. 1) - 9
Now Playing movies I need 2 see
The Abandoned
Black Snake Moan
Ghost Rider
Memories of Murder/Barking Dogs Never Bite (Clay)
Reno 911!: Miami
The Thing/Strange Behavior (Castro)
