This is one of the best trailers I've seen in awhile. It's Jonathan Caouette's follow-up to his kind of good documentary Tarnation. He's taken on the subject of mothers again, but this time instead of his own, it's about the mother of Sean Preston and Jayden James. I'm a little intimidated by the listed running time of 235 minutes (seriously, that's what's listed on imdb), but I think it'll be really good regardless. Here are a couple of leaked clips from the movie:
Watching these clips actually makes me feel pretty guilty that I haven't been more supportive of Britney. I mean, I've never made fun of her or anything, but I've been completely apathetic about her entire breakdown. I've followed her career and obsessed over her music and underrated movie since the very beginning, in 1998, when the single for ...Baby One More Time came out. I vividly remember the first time I heard it (and subsequently, the second through hundredth time I listened over and over again the same night). I saw Crossroads like 4 times in the theater when it came out. She's always been my very favorite pop star, and really, one of top favorite music acts ever. And yet, unlike Jonathan Caouette (who this obviously isn't actually, and I'm not even close to being the first person to make the comparison), I only love Britney the musician, or Britney the actress, Britney the philosopher, and to some extent, Britney the cunt-flashing fame whore. But my heart's been too cold to really love Britney Spears the human. It's no use worrying about her, or getting all depressed, but as ridiculous and scary as these videos are, they've actually made me feel a little more sympathetic. I imagine I'll probably be pretty overwhelmed by a fucking hurricane of shame and guilt inside me by the time Tarnation 2 reaches it's end credits.
