Braindead (rewatch, 1992, Peter Jackson, vhs) - 11

A Rich Tradition of Magic (tv carnage, download) - 8
Some pretty awesome clips, but overall, Lost and Found Video Night is way better. Also, why am I not watching Steven Seagal movies like every waking moment? They look incredible.
The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters (2007, Seth Gordon, theater) - 9.5

Pump Up the Volume (1990, Allan Moyle, theater) - 7
There was way too much of his radio show, which I was often pretty bored by, and I was constantly wishing they would go back to the plot. I also felt it had the potential to be a lot more fun. It's still good, though.
Footloose (rewatch, 1984, Herbert Ross, theater) - 8.5
Massacre at Central High (1976, Renee Daalder, theater) - 9

The 2007 San Francisco Underground Short Film Festival
An immensely vast improvement over previous years that I've gone (and not just because they played No Fatties). There were only a couple shitty ones, and almost all the rest I liked. Highlights were, of course, Lev's movies, who's been the highlight of every festival. I've always liked his work, but I forgot just how much. He's really pretty brilliant. My other favorites were The Winds of Time and The Exorcism of Mittens.
Now Playing movies I need 2 see
Balls of Fury
Death at a Funeral
Death Sentence
Exorcist/Sorcerer (Castro)
French Connection/To Live and Die in LA (Castro)
Halloween
Rush Hour 3
War
